This year has been the most challenging and demanding of my life, but also the most fulfilling and exciting. I turned 30, became a published writer, travelled to Colombia, volunteered for the Seawheeze Festival, flew in a float plane for my first time, became a ClassPass ambassador, dealt with someone continually misrepresenting my character, welcomed an incredible man into my life, and kept up with my fitness goals. Above all, I’m extremely proud of my accomplishments, and can’t wait to see what developments come from 2016.
I will always remember 2015 as a period of immense personal growth. I feel as though I truly became an adult this year. Trekking through the Colombian jungle, taking a few big steps into getting a hold of my finances, and really determining who my life companions truly are definitely made for an emotional roller coaster, but I came through relatively unscathed – which will only make every day ahead of me that much more thrilling.
It’s at this time of year that I become very nostalgic. I cannot wait for these three days to be over, so I can be with my family, relax, recoup, and prepare myself to begin the new year on an immense high. I wish you and yours the best holiday season – thank you for all of your continued love and support – you know who you are. It’s you that makes me tick.
Just a few of my favourites from 2015.
